7 months

wahhh!!!  We are now closer to 1 year then we are to Mikaela's first months.  Where has time gone??  We now have a SEVEN month old baby!!!!

Mommy and Me Swim Classes

 We started a mommy and me swim class at the aquatic center.  It is 5 classes meeting 1x week for 30 minutes.  Mikaela and I have so much fun playing wheels on the bus, reaching for the duck and even going under water.  The first few classes she wasn't so sure about it, but now she is learning to splash in the water - just like bath time.

Mikaela this month has transitioned from needing to be propped with sitting to sitting all by herself.  Here she is showing off her new skills.

Momma left Mikaela with cousins to watch her while I went to a job training for a few hours.  Mikaela did just fine, and they went for a walk and played basketball together.

Mikaela cut her 3rd tooth - on the top right.  It just cut through the gums right at the tail end of the month and still isn't visible yet.

We have tried sweet potato and avocado for Cinco de Mayo.  She still sobs when we feed her pears.  Lately she has taken to blowing raspberries if she isn't hungry or interested in what she is getting fed.

Mikaela is getting more vocal and enjoys talking.  She can say da-da (but at this point it is still babble).
