Thanksgiving Vacation

This year we traveled down to California for the week of Thanksgiving.  We kicked started our trip with a wedding and a night in Seattle before flying out.  Mikaela knocked out a bunch of "firsts" this trip.

The next morning we took off from SeaTac for LAX.  Little miss did WONDERFUL on the trip and slept much of the ride.  We fed on the way up and on the way down, which helped her little ears.  Everyone around us was very nice about having a baby seated near them.

We had a lovely time in California filled with walks on the beach, family time, black Friday shopping (during the daytime!), eating lots of turkey and meeting up with friends.  Here are a few (or maybe TONS) of pictures that capture our trip.

Boys dirt bike trip!

It was a great trip there for a week - which is never long enough!  It was mid 70's-80 degrees, and Thanksgiving reached 90!!!  We came home to our house with 2 inches on the ground! and a broken furnace AGAIN!! But Todd was able to fix it (and two weeks later we still have heat). So Mikaela and I continued our venture to my parents for 2 days.  I'm bummed I never got a picture of Mikaela in the snow, but it was pretty much melted by the time we were back home, and my parents only had a dusting.
