Case of Mondays

Whelp, we got back from a wonderful week long vacation. It was the most wonderful and relaxing week - free of any obligations or meetings.

But then Monday morning rolled around...

First eye the ice cream

First daycare was closed due to no power.  Unfortunately I had no idea, until I got Mikaela and myself out of the car.

Then Todd called to tell me a light came on his car.  The next phone call was to tell me his car broke down.

Then stick out tongue

But with all of that - we learned to trust, that we are provided for, and who our people are.

This is a crazy time for the family, as back to school is in full gear for the adults and kids.  A few frantic phone calls and Poppa won to spend the day with Mikaela.  My grandpa didn't answer, and called back 5 min later...  He was sure bummed.  My dad had no power at work at either, so he was spending the day working from home.

Todd had a good samaritan tow him to a parking lot, before AAA arrived.  A sweet co-coworker lives in Lake Stevens (they used to carpool), so she brought him to and from work while the car was in the shop.

And to top it all off it was Todd's 29th Birthday!!!  Poor guy, but that didn't spoil our birthday celebrating!
