Out of town Guests

For the past 11 days I have hosted up to four girls in my lil' condo. My sister and two of her friends from elementary school (sounds much cooler then saying H.S. friends...) were here. Together they traveled to San Diego, Malibu, Santa Monica, Hollywood, Line Dancing, Palm Springs. It was a joy to be able to host the girls and enjoy time together.

You know we are all from the NW when we made 3 full pots of coffee, all in one day!

We took the Metro into see Chinatown and the Museum of Contemporary Art. Chinatown was pretty quiet with not too many people out and about.


Enjoying Point Loma's campus. How does one study while going to school here? Another tip, before going exploring, remember where you parked the car.


LaJolla Cove - seeing the seals! A baby was born 2 hours before we got there. If traveling to SD this is a place to stop off and look at the ocean! Beautiful!!!


Meeting Julia Roberts (or at least her wax double!) Thanks to Groupon we were able to enjoy it for a reasonable price. We tried to picnic downtown Hollywood and found an area with sunshine, but we were asked to move ever so 'nicely' And instead took our picnic to Hollywood boulevard and found a bench by the bus stop to sit on instead.


On the way home from Palm Springs, stopping at the outlet malls and grabbing dinner at the Crazy Coyote Taco Stand (with the random rhino!) We drove out Palm Springs to find sunshine, it was successful. Complete with sunbathing by the pool.


Hiking down the "A" for Amy... I mean Azusa. A nice start to the morning.
