may memories

Making memories in May (I'm only a few months behind...)  Currently we are watching SING for the upteenth time for family movie night, but I'm using it to take advantage and catching up the blog...

We started the month of off at the zoo - where we got to meet the newest zoo members!  Rhinos!

It got warm and we bought a new pool, which of course we had to try out immediately!

Church held a Women's Tea.  The theme was "Alice in Wonderland".
4 Generations

For Mother's Day we continued our tradition of going for a hike!  This time to Fragrance Lake - 5.5 miles round trip!  M was a trooper and walked the entire way!!!  It helped that there were 6 adults and 1 dog to keep her entertained.

Happy hikers get ice cream

Our family motto is "happy hikers get ice cream".  Everyone was a happy hiker so all got to enjoy a sweet treat.

On Mother's day we were treated to strawberry and waffle breakfast.  Then we went to Anthony's to enjoy the nice warm weather.  M feel asleep at 5:15 on the way home - and was OUT!! We couldn't even wake her with temptations of frozen yogurt.

With my BIG girl

The following weekend I went away to Suncadia with the girls.  It was such a relaxing trip to the other side of the mountains - we talked, we laughed, we walked and played games.  Todd and M had quite the fun while I was gone - going to King Charlie's and enjoying the Children's Museum (free night).  M learned about satellites and was fascinated.

Hiking in Cle Elum

Memorial Day weekend found us camping up in LaConner which is on the water.  We enjoyed 4 generations of campers.  Smores, pickle ball, card games, riding bikes, looking for rock crabs we had an enjoyable time together.

Big Little Helper

Whew - that was quite a month!  We enjoyed time with friends and family all month long to say the least.  We got a taste of summer weather and we are so excited!
