This past week I hosted a tea party at my house for the KNOBS and KNOBS-ettes (which is just an acronym that the ladies in my family gave ourselves - the initials of our last names). I had been wanting an excuse to use the China that Nana gave to Todd and I for our wedding.

The Story: Grandpa with his construction background had helped their neighbors - (Ines Olson) with a house project. In Grandpa's mind the project was minor; but to the neighbors they wanted to repay him for his kindness. He refused several offers, but then the neighbors remembered that Nana had always liked these dishes. Would he accept a gift for her?
Everyone took to heart the tea party theme, and came in their sundresses and high heels. The table was set for outside (Todd put the table outside for me early Friday morning before he left for work!!!! Love that man)
It was very warm outside, so after finishing our meal, we moved inside to the A/C and listened to Nana tell stories about her family history. It was a wonderful afternoon had by all.
